What if we told you that Andrea Lamorte did not start surfing until he was 18 years old? He was born and raised in Turin, where he was sportingly accomplished as a competitive judoka, but then moved to Liguria and from there on surfing became a predominant part of his life. Andrea represents the fairly unique case of a Mediterranean surfer who, despite boarding so late in life, managed to achieve an excellent level of surfing. In the learning process, Andrea has studied technical notions along with athletic ones, taking home lessons that are useful to him in enhancing the skills of his students. An L-2 instructor of the ISA (International Surfing Association), a graduate in osteopathy, and author of several video projects that promote honorable social and environmental causes through surfing.
