Gigi Lozzi knows where and when to find the best snow conditions in the Alps. And no, he rarely tells it on social media, because Gigi is an OG of snowboarding. A national instructor and co-founder of the Sestriere Preskige school, he was among the first in Italy to adopt the splitboard, a tool that in his way of experiencing the mountains (in winter as in summer, when he spends hours climbing) has opened up new scenarios in the Piedmont Alps.
Athlete first, trainer later, Gigi has always put freeriding at the center of his path. Without mincing words: for him, freeriding is the very essence of snowboarding. Today, in an environment where practicing freeride safely and with quality is increasingly complex, he and Outdoo are working on a different idea: a freeride that is more conscious and accessible even to those who cannot or do not ski powder continuously.
