Ian Catanzariti

Raised according to old school surfing upbringing, Ian Catanzariti is a multiple Italian junior champion and 3rd in Italy in the 2025 Open Championship. Ian’s backside carve is as savage as a Noyz Narcos verse: he goes straight to the point without too much spin, straight outta Ostia Beach. From practice to theory: together with his dad Oliver he co-founded Sealover Surf School, an Ostia-based center of excellence that helps people of all ages build a relationship with the sea through surfing. Today Ian is a full-time surf coach, working on the front lines with Sealover to promote a vision of surfing as a tool for personal growth, respect for the sea, and ongoing exploration-a culture that is built one wave at a time, in and out of the water.
