Matteo Marsaglia

Matteo Marsaglia is a Roman who grew up in the Alps. Don’t be fooled by his Nordic speech: Matte is as caciarone and passionate as only someone from the capital can be. Raised under the upbringing of two super sportsmen, his dad Andrea (ski coach) and mom Roberta (former professional tennis player), he left town at 14 to move with his family to San Sicario and pursue his dream of a career as a professional skier. Mission accomplished: 15 years in the World Cup, 2 prestigious podiums and 2 Olympics. Having closed his parenthesis as an athlete, today he devotes himself full-time to his family, always trying to enjoy quality time with his two sons. On the professional front, however, with his role in FISI he works to make skiing a more inclusive sport close to young people. He is also currently involved in the organization of Milan-Cortina 2026. Off piste, he is crazy about surfing and is already pushing to combine his two great passions on trips with Outdoo. And if on the road he were to tell you all the behind-the-scenes stories of the white circus…well, it would take a few omissions.
