The North Face in support of adventure

The North Face in support of adventure

Thanks to Aura's role as The North Face ambassador, we will have technical equipment to accompany us throughout the crossing of Translagorai. Our nights will be indoors thanks to 2, 3 and 4-person tents to share, an invaluable support to face each stage with comfort and freedom to live the adventure to the fullest. And the brand's surprises may not end there!

We are Habitat

We are Habitat

Sandro is the mountain companion everyone would like to have by their side: a naturalist and scientific researcher, he studies alpine flora, fauna and habitats and has been involved for years in environmental dissemination through museums, exhibitions, nature trails, publications, education and training. This deep passion, made up of curiosity and listening, has been passed on like a lifeblood to his daughter Aura, who day after day learns to grasp the harmony and essentiality of nature by observing it with attention and respect. Together they are Habitat: an environmental popularization project that tells the story of Trentino's natural world through the real life and shared adventures of a father and daughter.

From the eyes of Habitat

From the eyes of Habitat

This trekking camp is not just a long way to complete, but an opportunity to experience the mountains from a different perspective. Here performance gives way to knowledge, exploration and questions. Sandro, mountain guide and naturalist, flanked by Aura, will guide you through hiking techniques and orientation (map, compass, altimeter), life in the wilderness (camping, fire-starting, cooking), reading the landscape, geomorphology and geology, alpine flora and vegetation, medicinal, edible and poisonous herbs, wildlife observation, animal tracks and signs, and finally observing the night sky, including stars, constellations, science and mythology.

The Translagorai

The Translagorai

Among lonely larches, twisted shrubs, crystalline lakes and ridges that follow one another without end, the Translagorai takes shape: an 85 km itinerary that connects the Panarotta to Passo Rolle, there where the Lagorai meets the Pale di San Martino. A wild and authentic territory, extremely rich from a naturalistic and historical point of view, marked by mule tracks, trenches and war shelters. The Catena del Lagorai is the ideal place for an adventure of exploration and discovery, to be experienced step by step together with two profound connoisseurs of these mountains.
